about

In the bitter cold of 2015, Danny Whitecotton sat down with one microphone, a guitar and harmonica to write a song that conveys the difficulty of life traveling and isolation. The "Cabin Fever" session is all live with no studio tricks. Just raw songs in their purest form.

lyrics

Call me in the morning before I go to bed
All this day light disappears the bad dreams in my head
I don't say that I can't sleep in our empty room
So I lay out on this couch like I was passing through
And minutes turn to hours and hours turn to days
And I'll keep track of all of it until I see your face

Call me in the morning
Let me know that you're doing fine
Call me in the morning
I don't care if you wake me every time

You flew out on a plane and I look for your return
But when I watch the sky all I see are birds
With the flutter of a tail or the swoop of a wing
Where loneliness there's freedom in the aether where we'll meet
And just as soon as you return you go and leave again
All the time zones and the cities the sunsets never end.

Call me in the morning
Let me know that you're doing fine
Call me in the morning
I don't care if you wake me every time

Call me in the morning
Let me know that you're doing fine
Call me in the morning
I don't care if you wake me every time
I don't care if you wake me up this time
No I don't care if you wake me everytime
